BUSINESS AND COMPUTER CONTEST 4/25/24 Flora
High School students competed at the Lake Land College Business and Computer
Contest on Friday. A total of 14 schools participated at the competition.
Students took individual tests in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Accounting, and
General Business. Students also participated in the Goose Chase scavenger hunt
where they had to find clues around the college. Flora
High School was the Grand Champion of the team event. Madyson Slover won first
place in Word and received a $50 gift certificate and a three-hour tuition
waiver. Kennedy Crays won second place in Excel, Quentin Black won second
place in PowerPoint, and Elena Warren won second place in Accounting. Placing
third in General Business was Mallory Lovett. Each received a $30 gift
certificate to the Lake Land Bookstore. Students were accompanied by their
teacher, Alicia Westjohn. Top
