IECC ADULT LITERACY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The IECC Adult Literacy program is seeking individuals passionate about making a difference in their community.

The program is actively recruiting volunteers to become trained tutors, assisting adults who assess at or below a 9th-grade reading level.  No prior teaching experience is necessary.  IECC provides comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure that volunteers feel equipped and confident in their roles.

Through the Adult Literacy program, volunteers will have the chance to positively impact lives by empowering individuals with essential literacy skills.  Whether it's helping someone navigate through a job application, understand medical instructions, or simply enjoy the pleasure of reading, your involvement can make a significant difference.
