NORTH WAYNE PRE-K SCREENINGS

The North Wayne School District will be holding Child Find Preschool screenings for children up to age 5 who are not yet enrolled in public school and who will not be Kindergarten eligible in the fall.

Screenings will be held at the Johnsonville School tomorrow and Wednesday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.  The screening procedure takes about 45 minutes and appointments must be made by calling 618-673-3044.

The screening checks each child’s progress in hearing, vision, speech, language and coordination skills.  The screening process is free, and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing.  Head Start personnel may also be present to explain their programs and services.
