Frontier Community College (FCC) is scheduling FREE GED Test Prep classes in Flora starting Thursday, August 16th.  Classes meet for eight weeks through October 11th with both day and evening classes available.

Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at First Christian Church in Flora.  Day class meets from 8:30am-12:30pm with instructor Karen Briscoe.  The evening class meets from 5:00-8:00 pm.

On-site registration is Tuesday, August 7th, from 1:00-5:00pm at First Christian Church at 100 W 4th St.   No appointment is needed.  If youre unable to attend the on-site registration, other arrangements can be made with FCCs Adult Education Department.  Students must register before classes begin.

GED Test Prep reviews all subjects on the GED exam (Math, Writing, Reading, Science, Social Studies and Constitution), as well as Job Preparation skills. The GED exam is now computerized and is offered on FCCs campus as well as the other IECC campuses.  Adult Education classes can also help students prepare to take other high school equivalency tests, like the Hi Set or TASC tests.  Online classes are available to qualifying students.
