FLORA PRESCHOOL SCREENING ANNOUNCED

The Flora Unit School District Preschool Screening will be held for one day only, Monday, August 13th, from 8:00am to 3:30pm, at Flora Elementary School, at 445 Emory Avenue, in Flora. This is a free service provided by the Flora School District.

This Preschool Screening is for all 3 and 4-year-old children who live in the Flora School District who have not been previously screened. The screening is used to determine the number of students who are eligible for the 2018-2019 Pre-Kindergarten Program.

All Pre-K students must have family income documentation on file in order to determine eligibility for the program. All information will be kept confidential.

When attending the screening its important to bring Public Benefits Documentation, such as TANF, WIC, Medicaid Card, and CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program). If you do not have public benefits documentation, then please bring Proof of Income documentation such as a W-2 Form, or 2 recent paystubs, and SSI.

Each screening will last about 45-minutes.
