Information: The Cisne Volunteer Fireworks Committee will be having a porkburger sale on April 27 from 10:00am- sold out at Country Financial in Cisne.
All proceeds will go toward this years fireworks show on July 5 behind the Cisne High School.

Event: Bible Giveaway

Information: The Calvary Baptist Church will be partnering with Ambassador Ministries and South Side Baptist Church of Effingham, IL to hand out free Bibles in front of Country Closet starting at 10am until there are no Bibles left.

Event: Pork Burger Sale
Location: Priceless IGA

Information: There will be a pork burger and bake sale on Saturday at the Flora IGA. Pork burgers, hot dogs, and baked goods will be sold from 10 am to 2 pm and all proceeds will go to th Xenia Christ United Church for their building fund.

Event: Spring Book Sale
Location: Flora Public Library
Time: 8 am
Information: Friends of the Flora Public Library will have their spring used book sale on Saturday, April 27, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Flora Public Library in the conference room. All books are .25 cents. Magazines are 10 each or 12 for $1. The library is accepting book donations for the sale now through Wednesday April 24. All proceeds from the book sale go to the Flora Public Library. If you have any questions, call the library at 618-662-6553.

Event: Fish Dinner
Location: Wayne County Courthouse
Time: 11 am
Information: The Wayne County 4-H Foundation will have a drive-through fish dinner Saturday on the southwest corner of the Wayne County Courthouse. Serving will be from 11am - 1 pm. Meal will be fish filets, fried potatoes, and hush puppies cooked by Jim McPeak; cole slaw & a 4-H cookie will also be included. Cost is $12 per plate. Proceeds will be used to support the Wayne County 4-H Program and activities for 4-H members.

Event: Wags & Wash Fundraiser
Location: Tractor Supply
Time: 10 am
Information: Wags & Wash will have a fundraiser for the Clay County Shelter on Saturday from 10 to 1 pm at Tractor Supply in Flora. Nail clipping will be $10 to $12, ear cleaning will be $5, and paw pad trimming is $5. Clay County Animal Shelter will also have an adoption event on Saturday.
